Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded with the essence associated with holiday season, rendering it ideal for your holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for brunch beverages, sweets, or to mix another batch of the drink.
The Bikini Cocktail
Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Premix (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
For the Citrus Syrup: Put every ingredients in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the heat and leave to reach room temperature completely. Pour into a sterilised bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, it will last for up to one month.
For the Cocktail Base: Pour every liquids in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
To serve: Add 85ml of your premix into your stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Pour to a chilled martini glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and finish by giving it a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
